Havana Cabana is a 3 bedroom Ocracoke Island vacation home tucked away just outside the heart of the village, within walking and cycling distance to coffee stores, multiple eateries, shopping and Silver Lake Harbor. The additional of a calming first floor den with sleeper couch and TV provides the ideal hideaway.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 2 with Queen. 1 with two Twin Beds and a Child Size Bunk Bed. Den with Queen Size Sleeper Couch.

Conveniences include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 3 TVs and a DVD player. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are included. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunk.

Havana Cabana offers a screened porch, ground level deck, enclosed yard, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grille, and fish cleaning bench. Basketball hoop.

Pet Friendly. Limit of 2 Animals.

No Smoking. Limit of 2 cars.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-nighttime minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV. Den with Queen Size Sleeper Couch and TV/DVD. Primary Bedroom with Queen Bed and private Primary Bath with shower. Laundry closet.

Second Floor: One bedroom with Queen Bed, TV. Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and a Child Size Bunk Bed (standard twin size beds). Bath with tub/shower.

About the Area

Ocracoke is home to this vacation home. Deepwater Theater and Ocracoke Preservation Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include British Cemetery and Ocracoke Lighthouse. Ocracoke Pony Pens and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in Ocracoke. To get the best value, shift your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
