Rental booking tips:

Get the most from your rental home budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserve your Ocracoke rental in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
