This two-story waterfront townhouse is the ideal place to relax and take in the spectacular sunset vistas over Pamlico Sound. Located on a modest side road off Silver Lake Road this property has private decks and simple water access providing an ideal place for your event to launch personal watercraft and discover the island. The docking here is shallow and only accepts shallow watercrafts. Both the downstairs living area and upstairs master bedroom are open to the view of the sound, where one can appreciate lazily watching boats and ferries going to and from the mainland. Upon entering this unit, you are greeted by a beautiful hand painted mural that leads you to the second floor. The sizable second bedroom upstairs is great for families needing a kids’s room, having a pyramid bunk bed, queen-sized bed, and a twin bed. The master bedroom upstairs has a private bathroom and private deck access. This Saturday turn day property does not provide linens or towels, please inquire about rental options.

Tricks and tips to get the optimal Ocracoke vacation property experience:
Getting the most from your budget:
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To find the best value, try changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Ocracoke vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Some hosts offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Often, property management companies supply Ocracoke area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Begin by selecting vacation dates and a max budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Water's View: Waterfront Ocracoke Townhome has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before you book your rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
- If there's a particular Ocracoke destination you long to visit, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Tips to have a fantastic stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of concerns.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
- Note any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
- Be a good neighbor. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to stimulate new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
