Appreciate this unique and striking bungalow on Sand Dollar Road. Ideal for a peaceful Ocracoke vacation getaway. This home consists of two separate buildings, a single story main building and a two story apartment. This unique property is ideal for a modest family or couples who savor privacy.

The main building offers an open floor plan with a modest living/dining area and full kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Bedroom with Queen Bed and TV. Full bath with tub/shower. Stack washer/dryer.

The detached two-story apartment offers a first floor with Queen Futon, TV, mini refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. Half Bath. The second level is accessible by a ladder and has 2 Double Mattresses.

Conveniences include: Free wireless internet access, 3 satellite TVs, microwave, 2 Keurig coffee makers and stackable washer/dryer. The main home offers a mini split central heat/air system and the apartment a wall AC/Heat unit.

The exterior offers an outdoor shower, decking, gas grille, picnic table, fish bench and fenced in yard.

Sheets and towels are included. Beds are made for your arrival.

When to go & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Ocracoke. Booking your Ocracoke vacation home in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Ocracoke vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
