11-Sea Glass Suite at The Castle Inn - Vacation rental home in Ocracoke, NC

Summary:

Inspired by all of the sea glass hunters who frequent our shoreline in search of the illusive seaglass. This standard suite is located on the second floor, has vistas of Silver Lake and accommodates up to 2 guests with queen bed. All suites offer hi speed Wi-Fi, intelligent TVs and premium linens.



The Space:

The property offers multiple common areas, including: reception area, parlor with a sitting area, fireplace and pool table, enormous front porch (new in 2026), 2 screened in porches, library (2nd floor), roof top deck, premium vending machine for 24 hour snacks, water refill station (hot and cold), kitchen and dining room. The property also offers access to the inground pool, sauna, Silver Lake dock with deck and floating dock.



Guest Access:

You'll have access to your private suite, including the bedroom and full bathroom. Appreciate amenities like air conditioning, a TV, and wireless internet. Guests also have access to the outdoor pool, hot tub, and beach access. The property offers complimentary parking.



The Neighborhood:

The Castle Inn is ideally located in the heart of Ocracoke Village, offering painless access to all the island has to offer. A leisurely walk or fast bicycle ride will take you to the gorgeous stores, local eateries, and the historic Ocracoke Lighthouse. Savor fresh seafood at close by eateries, discover unique stores, or simply soak in the village ambiance. The beach is also within simple reach, accepting for a day of sun and sand. Everything you need is just a stone's throw away, making your stay convenient and enchanting.



Getting Around:

The Castle Inn is right in the middle of Ocracoke Village, so you can get to everything pretty conveniently. You can walk or bicycle around the village, which is cool. Getting around on public transport is a bit tricky on Ocracoke Island. There's parking at the inn. The closest big place to fly into is the Ocracoke Island Airport, just a quick drive. Ferries run to and from the island, connecting you to the mainland. Just keep in mind that ferry times can change.



Other Things to Note:

Parking for 1 regular sized car (per room) is in the shared parking lot adjacent connected to the property (Lot with pea gravel) Trailers, Boats and upsized cars should be parked in the NPS lot.
