The property offers multiple common areas, including: reception area, parlor with a sitting area, fireplace and pool table, enormous front porch (new in 2026), 2 screened in porches, library (2nd floor), roof top deck, premium vending machine for 24 hour snacks, water refill station (hot and cold), kitchen and dining room. The property also offers access to the inground pool, sauna, Silver Lake dock with deck and floating dock.



Guest Access:

You'll receive a unique door code and detailed access instructions before you arrive. This ensures a smooth and simple check-in process. You'll have access to your private suite, including the bedroom and full bathroom. Appreciate the shared amenities such as the outdoor pool, hot tub, and access to the beach. The property also offers complimentary parking.

Getting Around:

Getting around Ocracoke is easy! The Castle Inn is centrally located in Ocracoke Village, making it a short walk or bicycle ride to most destinations. Free parking is available on the premises for guests. Please comply with parking requirements. For those arriving by ferry, the Ocracoke Ferry Terminal is a short distance away. Public transportation options within the village are limited, so walking, cycling, or using a golf cart are the most common ways to discover the island.



Other Things to Note:

Parking for 1 regular sized car (per room) is in the shared parking lot adjacent connected to the property (Lot with pea gravel) Trailers, Boats and upsized cars should be parked in the NPS lot.
