This home has phenomenal marsh and canal vistas and offers exceptional outdoor areas for bird watching. Unwind on the generous screened porch, covered decks or lookout deck.

Located in a peaceful, relaxing neighborhood on Ocracoke Island, with sound vistas from the rooftop deck and second floor. Appreciate the convenience of a short walk or bicycle ride to Silver Lake Harbor, stores, galleries and eateries.

3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: 2 with King, 1 with two Twins.

Conveniences include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 4 cable TVs. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are supplied. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers generous decking including a roof top deck, a huge screened porch, picnic table, deck swing, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grille and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

No Smoking. No Animals Accepted.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-nighttime minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Ocracoke is home to this vacation home. Ocracoke Preservation Museum and Deepwater Theater are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include British Cemetery and Ocracoke Lighthouse. Ocracoke Pony Pens and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.

Get the best value:

  • In the Ocracoke area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Ocracoke area. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.

  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
  • At Check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
