Savor the tranquility of our village location, with painless access to the beach, water sports, nature trails, and locally owned eateries and various other attractions.



The Space:

The property offers multiple common areas, including: reception area, parlor with a sitting area, fireplace and pool table, sizable front porch (new in 2026), two screened-in porches, library (2nd floor), roof-top deck, premium vending machine for 24 hour snacks, water refill station (hot and cold), kitchen and dining room. The property also offers access to the in-ground pool, sauna, Silver Lake dock with deck and floating dock.



Guest Access:

You'll have access to the entire suite, including the bedroom with a queen bed and couch bed, and a full private bathroom. Appreciate amenities like air conditioning, heating, and wireless internet. Outside, you can relax on the patio or balcony, and take advantage of the complimentary parking. Guests also have access to the communal pool, outdoor pool, and the beach. The Neighborhood:

The Castle Inn is ideally located right in the middle of Ocracoke Village, making it super simple to get to all the fun stuff on the island. You can walk or bicycle over to cute stores, yummy local eateries, and the pretty harbor in just a few mins.. Check out the unique stores, grab some delicious seafood at the eateries close by, or just take a nice, easy walk by the water. Staying here gives you the real Ocracoke experience, letting you soak up the island's chill vibes and appreciate being close to everything the village has to offer.



Getting Around:

The Castle Inn is attractively located in the heart of Ocracoke Village, offering easy access to all local attractions. Guests can effortlessly discover the village on foot or by bicycle. Public transportation options are limited on Ocracoke Island, but the village is comfortably walkable. Free parking is available on the premises for guests arriving by car. The Ocracoke Express passenger ferry provides service to and from Hatteras, and the ferry terminal is a short distance from the inn. Travel times vary depending on the mode of transport and destination, with the ferry being the primary mode of transport to and from the island.

Parking for 1 regular sized car (per room) is in the shared parking lot adjacent connected to the property (Lot with pea gravel) Trailers, Boats and upsized cars should be parked in the NPS lot.
